iPhone A-GPS assisted by driving directions

When viewing the GPS blue dot on the search it was very close to perfect, but on the wrong side of the road and had the halo of error covering both sides of the road and then some. I then switched over to the driving directions...I noticed that the blue dot moved over to the correct side of the road and lost the error halo
