Apple sued for infringement of multi-touch patents

Filed in the U.S. District Court in San Francisco, the suit claims that Apple, with its MacBook, iPhone and iPod touch, has infringed on two touchscreen (multi-touch) patents held by Taiwan-based Elan Microelectronics.
